Redout goes Lightspeed on Consoles

Global game developer 505 Games announced that their anti-gravity racing game Redout will be speeding onto consoles with a special edition.

The highly-acclaimed anti-gravity racing simulation title will include many new and upgraded features. This includes a “split screen” mode, allowing up to 6 players to go head-to-head to find out who the best Redout pilot is. Also included in this new edition is the Europa DLC and the newly-added Neptune DLC.

This new edition offers players an immersive experience in which they can test their skills in 11 different events: Race, Pure Race, Time Attack, Pure Time Attack, Speed, Instagib, Survival, Score Based Endurance, Last Man Standing, Boss and Arena Race.

There is also the option of 12 upgradable power-ups to really get that competitive edge: additional turbo, shields, self-repair drone, advanced grip system, slipstream enhancers, and more. The game will offer a total set of 30 unique tracks along with 6 different environments staged on a dystopian Earth.

There is also a Career Mode where players can compete in 100 different racing events, varying experience and an array of challenging levels.

Redout: Lightspeed Edition will be available from August 29th in the United States and August 31st across Europe on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
