Space Hulk: Deathwing revealed that a new set of updates, including class customization, are coming soon.
The FPS from Streum On Studio, which is set in the Warhammer 40k universe, brings yet another set of free patches along with the Return to Otheros update.
These updates are leading up to the upcoming launch of the Enhanced Edition on PC, Xbox One and PS4. All content will be provided for free for current and future owners of Space Hulk: Deathwing on PC.
The Return to Otheros update includes the Special Missions mode, which were well-received, in every Chapter in both the solo and multiplayer.
This mode generates enemy spawns and randomised objects which adds a lot of replay value, uncertainty, and longevity to the most devoted players of Space Hulk: Deathwing, allowing for a more challenging gameplay experience.
There is also the inclusion of the Class Customisation system that will be featured in the Enhanced Edition. Players will gain XP after completing Chapters in solo Special Missions and multiplayer. The acquired XP contributes to earning Loot Reclusiam. The Loot Reclusiam can be used as in-game currency which can be spent on unlocking items which include armour skins and runes that give each Class various striking looks, weapon skins, and attachments which affect gameplay and weapon appearances, such as class perks and banners.
The Loot Reclusiam and Class Customisation are earned entirely in game with no microtransactions.
The Return to Otheros content is available now free for current and future owners of Space Hulk: Deathwing.
