Star Wars Battlefront 2 Trailer Leaks Ahead of Star Wars Celebration

The original Star Wars Battlefront 2 was praised to be one of the best Star Wars games ever. It seems to still hold that title regardless of Electronic Arts releasing a rebooted Battlefront series two years ago. The game was not welcomed among fans for many reasons. The main reason for players not enjoying the game was the lack of content. These issues consisted of not having a single-player campaign and only focusing on one era.

After all the complaining and feedback from players, EA has finally given us a glimpse into what we can expect to be an amazing Star Wars game. The trailer leaked last night ahead of Star Wars Celebration this week, giving us an idea of what the second installment of Battlefront entails, but most of the videos have been taken down.

The trailer shows off some fantastic shots of space battles and quick shots of never before seen characters. It first shows glimpses into what we can expect from the single-player campaign. A woman narrates for us what she experienced as the second Deathstar explodes over Endor.

The character looks to be an imperial pilot who continues to fight for the emperor. Multiple shots of the same imperial ship is seen throughout the trailer hinting to what her role may be.

Not only do we get glimpses of the highly requested single-player, but we also get one of the biggest eras of all; the Clone Wars. In a quick shot we can see the iconic Sith lord, Darth Maul, ignite his lightsaber and run towards the camera.

As the camera pans out into a wider frame, we get the shot of a small green fingered hand grasp a lightsaber. These two significant characters tells us that a big portion of the Star Wars universe is coming to Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Not only is the Clone Wars era coming, but also the newest era in the Star Wars franchise, The Force Awakens. We can a few locations from the movie as well as Rey and Kylo Ren make appearances in the trailer. These two are added to a long line-up of playable heroes that we will see in the upcoming game. For players who want more of the newest era, you are able to pre-order the game. Those who do pre-order it get access to “The Last Jedi” heroes.

I have been playing video games since I could remember and I have no plan on stopping. I have just recently started writing about video games and currently have no plan to stop that either. You can add me on Xbox One at Viral Orbit. Most of the time you can find me playing Titanfall 2.
