Ubisoft have announced that UbiE3 will take place on June 12, 2017 at 1PM PST and will broadcast live from the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Little is known about what games the company will be showcasing during their presentation this year, though we do have a few possible hints.
During the release of the company’s latest financial results, Ubisoft stated that in the coming year we would see the return of mainstay franchises Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry, as well as a follow up to The Crew and the long awaited launch of South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
In addition, the company also announced that in the coming year we would see four more AAA titles and a new IP. The new IP is expected to be a multiplayer game with “live operation” elements taking center stage.
It seems this year that they are taking the same approach they did last year with an early afternoon event on the Monday of E3, but that doesn’t mean that this year’s conference is without a bit of a shakeup. Earlier this year it was announced by Microsoft that in lieu of their usual Monday morning Xbox presentation, they will be holding their presentation on Sunday June 11. Bethesda, developers of the insanely popular Fallout and The Elder Scrolls franchises, announced they also would be presenting Sunday.
No matter what Ubisoft shows at E3 this year, it’s clear from what we know so far that this presentation will be one that is not to be missed.
